Keystone Blue Throws Perfect Defense at Newberry in 23-0 Romp

Keystone White Edged by Montoursville 14-11

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT – Keystone Blue made easy work of Newberry defeating them 23-0 in the District 12 9-10 baseball tournament Wednesday evening thanks to a perfect game contribution from their pitching staff.

Braylen Corter, Matt Conklin, and Ashton Probst combined for a perfect game no – hitter.Matt Conklin also hit a grand slam to help out the effort.

On the other side of the bracket Keystone White lost a nail biter to Montoursville 14-11. The loss delayed the possibility of an all-Keystone matchup in the D12 tourney, though the possibility remains for a true backyard rivalry to ensue.

Keystone Blue will next face Montoursville Friday, July 10, 2015 for a 6 p.m. contest at the Montoursville field.

Keystone White will face Williamsport at Montgomery on Thursday, July 9 to begin their battle back in the lower bracket.
