Richard L. Stark, Jr. – Obituary
Born on November 19, 1957, he was the son of Richard L. and Jane Reish Stark, Sr.
Rick was a 1975 graduate of Lock Haven High School. He then pursued education in welding, mechanics, forestry, and electronics, making him a well-rounded jack-of-all-trades.
On February 23, 1980 at the home of his parent’s in Swissdale, he married the love of his life, the former Grace Shaffer who survives.
Rick was employed by Schnieder Valley Farms.
He was a member of the Beagle Club.
Rick enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Grace, he is survived by his father, Richard L. Stark, Sr. of Nightingales, Mill Hall; three sons: Charles “Chuck” (Jenn) Stark of Beech Creek, Jeremiah (Brynn) Stark of Jersey Shore, and Jeffery “Jeff” (Natashja) Stark of Lock Haven; three grandchildren: Olivia, Kaylanah, and Daniel Stark; and two sisters, Joy Winters of Lock Haven and Beth Allen of Blanchard.
Rick was preceded in death by his mother, Jane Stark.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington with Rev. Alan Eckenroad officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12 noon until the time of the service.
In lieu of flower, memorial contributions may be made to the Beagle Club, c/o Tom Lucas, 10 Oak Ln., Lock Haven.
