RENOVO – Clinton County Coroner, Zach Hanna said Sunday autopsy results will be released Monday on a body found Saturday in the Halls Run area of Noyes Township.

To this point officials have not conclusively said the body found is that of Kelley Jo Snyder who disappeared from her Renovo home on Easter Sunday.

Meanwhile Snyder’s husband William “B.J.” Snyder remains in the Clinton County Correctional Facility in McElhattan, charged with tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse. Snyder had been taken into custody Friday in New York State’s Southern Tier after departing Renovo in the wake of what he had told police was the kidnapping of his wife.

According to a state police affidavit, he later told them that he had taken his wife’s body and disposed of it outside Renovo and said a ransom note relative to any kidnapping was a hoax. Snyder is in prison in default of $500,000 bail.
