LOCK HAVEN – After Clinton County voters elect a new district attorney this fall, the successful candidate will have a new set of offices to occupy come the start of 2015. The county commissioners this week disclosed plans to relocate the DA’s rental location (photo below) from the lower level of the Dr. Samuel Rockey building on E. Water St. to the first-floor rear of the county Garden Building off Jay St. (photo above), that site presently occupied by District Judge Joseph Sanders. The district court offices would be relocated to available space in the now county-owned former Flemington elementary school. The county has been renting space on Water Street for many years, the rent reported to be $1,050 a month currently. The county maintenance staff is expected to perform much of the change-over.
